FSB's BIG networking event is back! Whether you’re self-employed, a start-up, or simply looking to grow your B2B connections – make sure you join us for FSB’s biggest networking event, ever! Our last event saw hundreds of small businesses come together to connect – so make sure you register early to secure your space.

What can you expect at our BIG networking event? You’ll have the opportunity to network with fellow SMEs in small breakout rooms and be in with a chance to pitch your business to hundreds of business owners. And, if your virtual background helps you stand out from the crowd, you could win a luxury hamper!

At our BIG networking event, we will also be joined by two inspirational speakers - Harpreet Kaur, BBC Apprentice 2022 winner, business partner to Lord Sugar, and owner of Oh So Yum and Abdul Shiil, FSB Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

Harpreet Kaur, BBC Apprentice 2022 Winner and owner of Oh So Yum

Harpreet Kaur is one of the UK’s most inspiring entrepreneurs. Based in West Yorkshire, Harpreet was crowned the winner of the BBC Apprentice series in March 2022, going on to become business partners with Lord Alan Sugar.

Harpreet is the co-founder and owner of Oh So Yum, an desert company with UK-wide delivery, stores in Huddersfield and Leeds, and a third store set to open in Bradford.

A well-respected business leader, Harpreet recently launched a LinkedIn audio series called Mindset Mondays, which focuses on top tips for running a successful business.

Abdul Shiil, FSB Young Entrepreneur of the Year and owner of Sahan Cares

Abdul first came to the UK from Somalia with his family under asylum seeker status in 2001 and settled in West London. Inspired by his mother, who used to run a charity for disenfranchised Black and ethnic minority women, Abdul went on to build his social enterprise Sahan Cares in 2012, with a vision to give back to the community that supported him.

His company offers training programmes to potential carers and employs them for care services to elderly people and those in need. All his employees are from a refugee background.

Starting with only three staff at the beginning, Abdul is now leading a team of 90 carers who have since successfully delivered more than 600,000 hours of services. His family-run social enterprise has evolved from a start-up to a high-growth business with more than £1.8 million annual revenue, now operating in three West London boroughs.
