About this event

"If you want to grow your games business, this is the place to be!"

Nina Roussakoff (Lovewish Games) on the West Yorks Games Accelerator 2022

The Indielab South Yorkshire Games Accelerator 2022 opens for applications on Tuesday 9 August.

Come along to our lunchtime briefing to hear more about this groundbreaking growth accelerator for games developers and games tech providers in South Yorkshire.

Position your company as one-to-watch, gaining unrivalled access to top industry leaders, investors, major studios, publishers and decision-makers from across the sector, giving your business and your games an edge in today’s ever more competitive market.

This exciting new programme will see two accelerators running simultaneously: a Games Developer Accelerator, for those who are generating their own IP, and a Games Tech Accelerator, for those who are supporting the games sector. Each is designed to drive growth and success for your company.

Each company accepted onto the Games Accelerator will be allocated two places at all of our bespoke masterclasses, events and workshops in the critical areas you need to fast track your business.

The Games Accelerator will be delivered virtually across approximately six half days in October and November. Full details of the programme and information on how to apply will be available from Tuesday 9 August at https://www.indielabgames.co.uk/south-yorks-games-accelerator-2022 Applications are open until Wednesday 14 September.

The South Yorkshire Games Accelerator is fully funded, so there will be no cost to your company to take part.

There are a limited number of places available on the programme and we expect a high level of interest, so would encourage potential applicants to come along to one of our online briefings to hear more.

The Games Accelerator briefing will take place on Thursday 18 August 2022, from 1pm – 2pm

Beverley McMillan, Indielab’s Head of Programmes, will be joined by Indielab Coach Ella Romanos. Also speaking at the session will be Nina Roussakoff, Founder of Lovewish Games, who took part in our accelerator programme for games studios in West Yorkshire, held in the first part of 2022. She will discuss her experience of attending an Indielab games accelerator, and how it supported her company’s growth.

Indielab support candidates from underrepresented groups, and actively encourages applications from all sectors of the community. We are committed to equality of opportunity and aim to ensure that our participants are representative of the diverse community we serve. If you require any adjustments or alternative arrangements, please contact Matthew Poxon, Programme Manager: matthew@weareindielab.co.uk

"Because of the calibre of speakers, the knowledge, the opportunity, the community it creates – it’s an unreal experience."
