Active Fusion is on the hunt for a passionate and experienced individual to join its Board of Trustees as Fundraising Lead Trustee, supporting the charity’s mission to empower children and young people through sport and physical activity.
As the organisation continues to grow, evolve and increase its impact, this new trustee role will play a pivotal part in shaping strategy and strengthening income generation to support its next chapter.
Active Fusion is seeking a committed individual with fundraising or business development expertise who can help unlock new opportunities, diversify income streams and champion the organisation’s work. The successful candidate will work closely with the Board and leadership team to ensure the charity remains financially resilient and future focused.
Alongside the core responsibilities shared by all trustees, including setting strategic direction, ensuring strong governance, overseeing financial health and acting as ambassadors for the charity, the Fundraising Lead Trustee will provide specialist insight into fundraising strategy, trends and opportunities.
They will support the development of sustainable income streams across grants, trusts, corporate partnerships, events and individual giving, while also helping to strengthen donor relationships and enhance the organisation’s storytelling and case for support.
Active Fusion is particularly keen to hear from individuals who are strategic thinkers, strong relationship builders and passionate about improving the lives of children and young people. The role also involves opening networks, influencing partnerships and embedding fundraising across the organisation’s culture and governance.
