Agemaspark Managing Director Paul Stockhill has been recognised as one of 130 individuals and organisations celebrated in the Make UK 130 Honours, marking the manufacturing organisation’s 130th anniversary.
The 130 Honours have been created to recognise the people, businesses and organisations whose contribution has helped shape UK manufacturing, celebrating achievements in areas including innovation, leadership, resilience, dedication and inspiring the next generation.
Paul’s recognition follows more than two decades at the helm of Doncaster-based Agemaspark, which he founded in 2002 and has developed into an award-winning precision engineering business working across some of the UK’s most technically demanding sectors.
Today, Agemaspark supplies customers across aerospace, space, nuclear, defence, power generation, medical devices and other advanced manufacturing industries, combining traditional precision engineering expertise with investment in technologies including metal additive manufacturing.
Paul has also made developing engineering skills and creating opportunities for young people a priority for the business.
Agemaspark has a long-standing commitment to apprenticeships and works closely with education providers including Doncaster UTC to give young people first-hand experience of engineering and manufacturing. The company’s predominantly apprentice-trained team has continued to demonstrate the career opportunities available within advanced manufacturing.
Paul said: “I’m incredibly proud to be recognised in the Make UK 130 Honours, particularly alongside so many people and organisations making such an important contribution to UK manufacturing.
“Although my name is on the recognition, what Agemaspark has achieved has always been a team effort. I’m fortunate to work with a talented group of people who are passionate about engineering, continually developing their skills and finding better ways to solve challenges for our customers.
“UK manufacturing has a huge amount to be proud of, but we also need to keep investing in technology, skills and the next generation. I’m passionate about showing young people the opportunities available in engineering and making sure businesses like ours continue to develop the expertise the UK will need in the future.”
The Make UK recognition adds to a successful period for Agemaspark and its team. In March 2026, the company was named Engineering Manufacturer of the Year at the Made in Yorkshire Awards, while Workshop Managers Paul Preskey and Sam Buxton have also received individual recognition for their development and achievements.
Paul was previously named among the GREAT100, recognising people making a significant contribution to manufacturing.
The Make UK 130 Honours form part of Make UK’s celebrations marking 130 years of supporting and championing UK manufacturing.
Paul added: “Manufacturing is constantly evolving, which is what makes being part of the sector so exciting. Whether it is adopting new technology, tackling increasingly complex engineering challenges or helping someone at the beginning of their career discover what they are capable of, there is always an opportunity to move forward.
“To receive this recognition during Make UK’s 130th year is a real honour.”
