Appetite for networking as Doncaster Business Showcase returns

More than 250 exhibitors and over 2,000 delegates gathered at the Doncaster Racecourse to make contacts and do business at the Doncaster Business Showcase 2022.

The event organised by Business Doncaster attracted businesses from across the region and beyond to showcase their products, services and create new leads for future business.

Special thanks to our Headline Sponsor iVoltz Limited, a Doncaster business specialising in renewable energy with services ranging from lighting, power and network installation to small and large scale Solar PV Generation and Battery Storage.

The 13th Business Showcase event that took place yesterday (3 February) was declared a huge success – with businesses already wanting to sign up for 2023!

The one-day exhibition promotes and connects local and regional businesses and feedback from the day from visitors and businesses has been fantastic.

Doncaster Mayor, Ros Jones said: “Covid has been catastrophic for many of the local businesses here in Doncaster and this is a key time for many as we emerge from the pandemic. This event has meant businesses were able to meet potential clients face-to-face, network with other exhibitors and visitors and create those all-important new business leads.”

Heather Hamilton, the event organiser said: “obviously due to the pandemic I was a little bit apprehensive about how it might go, but it turned out to be a fantastic day. People were commenting all day about how good it felt to get back to some kind of normality after the difficult time we have all had. It was a pleasure to see so many familiar faces along with some new ones”.
