Bold ideas wanted: Applications open for the first You Can Learning Innovation Fund

City of Doncaster Council is excited to announce the launch of the You Can Learning Innovation Fund, a new opportunity to spark bold and creative approaches to learning in our city.

With up to £20,000 available, we’re inviting schools, colleges, businesses, charities, and community groups to submit visionary proposals that challenge the status quo and reimagine how learning happens.

This inaugural fund will support two ambitious projects that aim to:

• Test bold, creative ideas
• Address local skills gaps
• Promote lifelong learning

We’re looking for proposals that align with the spirit of our city’s learning innovation initiatives — including Remake Learning Days Festivals, Moonshot Food for Thought, and Reimagining Learning Spaces — and that reflect our commitment to inclusive, future-focused education.

Only two projects will be selected, so we’re encouraging applicants to think big, be brave, and submit ideas that could shape the future of learning for generations to come.
