The UKREiiF event brought together both public and private sector including Government, investors, funders, developers, housebuilders and more.
Having first taken place in 2022, the UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) has already become a key event in the business calendar for UK inward investment and property development. This year’s event took place from 16 - 18 May at the Royal Armouries, Leeds.
The event brought together both public and private sector including Government, investors, funders, developers, housebuilders and more, all looking to connect people, places and businesses in order to accelerate and unlock sustainable, inclusive and transformational investment.
With representation from all of the UK’s core cities, over 7,000 delegates and 300 speakers across more than 20 stages, the event certainly delivered all expectations.
The City of Doncaster Council attended as part of a South Yorkshire delegation, with the exhibition stand promoting all four local authority areas and their investible propositions. Everyone there was focussed on attracting and assisting development and investment into the South Yorkshire Region.

“Our attendance at UKREiiF offered investors, developers and occupiers the chance to meet the Doncaster team and discuss commercial opportunities”.
During the week, Doncaster delegates spoke to many businesses and potential investment partners with further engagement and conversations set to continue throughout the year.
Tariq Shah, Director at Vigo Group commented: "It was abundantly clear that businesses were at the heart of Doncaster's showcase and that was evident across the Doncaster presence at this year's UKREiiF, which demonstrated the openness of the public sector.
"The scale of opportunity, from well-connected logistics to urban regeneration, will ensure that future investment opportunities will see Doncaster make the most of its city status by driving economic growth, creating high quality jobs, and improving the quality of place for everyone in it.
Chris Dungworth, Head of Service for Business Doncaster added: “by attending UKREiiF we have been able to make lots of new connections and tell everyone about what we do and what the City of Doncaster has to offer”.
