Doncaster resident based employees encouraged to join Doncaster’s Big Neighbourhoods Conversation

The City of Doncaster Council is inviting Doncaster resident-based employees and professional networks across the city to take part in Doncaster’s Big Neighbourhoods Conversation — a consultation aimed at shaping the future of Doncaster’s communities and guiding investment decisions.

The initiative builds on the success of the Big City Conversation, which saw thousands of residents contribute to improvements already underway. Now, the focus turns to Doncaster’s diverse neighbourhoods — and the Council wants to hear from the people who live and work within them.

The results of the consultation will feed into a halfway point refresh of Team Doncaster’s 10 year borough strategy Doncaster Delivering Together - Team Doncaster, and decisions about future investment in and around Doncaster’s neighbourhoods.

City of Doncaster Council’s Chief Executive, Damian Allen said: “Our great city of Doncaster is made up of so many fantastic towns and villages with thriving communities who are proud of where they live and care deeply about the future of their neighbourhoods.

“Our residents have a deep insight into what matters most to their communities. The Big Neighbourhoods Conversation is a perfect opportunity for everyone to put forward ideas, thoughts and aspirations and help shape Doncaster’s future. This is about seeing positive changes on a local level, delivered in partnership with our residents and businesses. I encourage everyone in Doncaster to get involved and be part of the conversation.”

Doncaster’s Big Neighbourhoods Conversation will run until 14 September. You can join the conversation by taking part in the online survey at Doncaster Big Neighbourhoods Conversation

For assistance completing the online conversation you can also visit the Council's One Stop Shop, at the Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster, DN1 3BU and speak to our Customer Services Team or call us on 01302 736999 and we can complete the survey with you over the telephone.
