Returning for its 27th year, the Doncaster Business Awards took place last night, once again recognising outstanding achievements across the city’s business community.
The black-tie event was organised by Doncaster Chamber of Commerce and attended by approximately 900 guests, who gathered at Doncaster Racecourse for an evening of celebration, networking, and live entertainment.
YWCA Yorkshire served as the President’s Charity at the 2025 Business Awards. Dedicated to empowering families, women and girls across the region, YWCA Yorkshire benefited from fundraising activities at the event, including a silent auction and a lucky dip featuring prizes generously donated by local businesses.
Over the course of the ceremony, 18 awards were presented to honour excellence, innovation, and positive impact demonstrated by local organisations throughout 2025. Categories spanned the full spectrum of business success, recognising inspiring apprentices, enterprising new start-ups, exemplary employers, effective partnerships, compassionate charities, and high-performing SMEs.
Each award category was evaluated through a rigorous judging process involving independent experts, ensuring that finalists and winners were selected fairly and objectively. Their accomplishments were spotlighted in front of an audience of peers, stakeholders, and local business leaders.
Reflecting on the event, Dan Fell, Chief Executive of Doncaster Chamber, said: “A dependable highlight in the calendar, the Awards always showcase Doncaster’s business community at its finest. The competition this year was particularly strong, and I was extremely impressed by the calibre of the nominees and winners. It was a privilege to celebrate so many outstanding achievements and see the entrepreneurial energy, innovation, and commitment that drives our city forward."
