The agreement aims to boost adoption of innovative railway safety tool, the ZKL 3000 RC (remote-controlled track circuit operating device).
On Wednesday 24th July 2024, Dual Inventive, a leading provider of innovative railway technology solution, and Network Rail, the owner and operator of Britain's rail network, signed a Collaborative Working Agreement aimed at increasing the usage of the ZKL 3000 RC product across the UK’s rail network.
Under this agreement, both parties will work closely together to engage with all customers and stakeholders, promoting the benefits of using the ZKL 3000 RC solution for the safety of the teams on track. This innovative product has already proven its effectiveness in reducing costs, improving efficiency, and enhancing safety on Britain's railways.

The ZKL 3000 RC is a state-of-the-art solution that uses modern technologies to provide safe and efficient track access. By simulating a train in section, it uses the signalling system to provide protection to staff working out on the tracks. Operated remotely, via a 4G network connection, once installed, it removes the need for staff to enter the track unprotected, to place their protection – saving lives.
