ER Training teams up two charities to raise funds through Community First Aid courses

Emergency Response Training Ltd in Doncaster has announced an inspiring partnership with two incredible local charities: Good Life Dog Rescue and The Jackson Hope Foundation — as part of a major fundraising initiative designed to strengthen first aid skills across the Doncaster community.

The Doncaster-based training provider, known for delivering high-quality compliance and first aid training, is launching a series of Charity First Aid Sessions at its Training Centre at Canberra House, Doncaster. These sessions aim to empower residents with vital life-saving knowledge while raising much-needed funds for the two causes.

Each training session is just £15 per person + vat, with an impressive £12.50 from every ticket being donated directly to Good Life Dog Rescue and The Jackson Hope Foundation. Participants will learn essential first aid skills including

  • Recognising and responding to heart attacks
  • CPR for adults, children, and babies
  • The recovery position
  • Managing choking
  • Treating bleeds and minor injuries

These courses are perfect for parents, grandparents, carers, employees, volunteers, or anyone wishing to feel more confident in an emergency.

ER Training’s chosen charities hold a special place within the community:

• Good Life Dog Rescue: work tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome stray and abandoned dogs across South Yorkshire.

• The Jackson Hope Foundation: dedicated to supporting children and families through difficult and life-changing challenges.

Debbie Pearson, ER Training Director said: We are proud to deliver vital first aid skills in Doncaster while raising funds to support others in need.”
