The £53m GDV Opal scheme, which is located off Cammidge Way, adjacent to Bawtry Road, will comprise a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes.

The development will also feature 17 of Honey’s house type designs, with prices at the development starting from £234,995 for a two-bedroom, semi-detached Avocado house type.

Mark Mitchell, chief executive officer of Honey, said: “It’s fantastic to have received planning permission for Opal, enabling us provided buyers looking to move in or to Bessacarr with high-specification new homes. There has been strong levels interest from a range of buyers looking for homes which combine substance, style and sustainability since we first unveiled our plans for the site. We now look forward to starting work on site and launching the first homes for sale at this new community we are creating in Besscarr.”
