The government has confirmed that the country can move to step three of the roadmap out of lockdown, meaning the food and beverage outlets at Lakeside Village Shopping Centre can once again welcome customers indoors from Monday 17 May.
Di Rodgers, centre manager, said: “It has been wonderful to welcome staff teams back to the centre over the past few weeks and to see shoppers enjoying visiting us once again.
“The great British weather has meant that having a drink and a bite to eat outside has not always been possible so we’re really pleased that our food and beverage outlets will be able to welcome customers indoors to enjoy a pitstop drink and meal as part of their shopping experience.
“The Health and wellbeing of everyone who works at and visits Lakeside remains our top priority and so, all of the #ShopSafe measures will remain in place. This includes social distancing measures, hand sanitiser stations across the centre, frequent cleaning of all public areas and mandatory face coverings in all indoor areas, too.
“Thank you to everyone that has followed the guidance and helped us to get to this next step in reopening. We look forward to seeing you at Lakeside Village very soon.”
