Local Charity darts seeks Corporate Sponsors to support Creative Health and Learning in Doncaster

by Heather Hamilton

With a national reputation for pioneering creative approaches to health and learning inequalities, darts delivers high-quality, inclusive arts programmes that reach people of all ages and backgrounds—particularly those with the least access to the arts.

In 2024/25 alone, darts delivered 2,966 creative sessions across drama, dance, music, visual arts and more, with 48,278 participations from residents aged 0–100 in all 21 Doncaster wards. From its purpose-built home, The Point, darts continues to be a Centre of Excellence for creative health and learning, offering flexible spaces for events, workshops, and a quality café and catering offer.

As multi-year funding comes to an end, darts is actively seeking corporate sponsors to help sustain its 12 core programmes and continue its vital work. Businesses can support in a variety of ways—from sponsoring an artist or programme, to fundraising, pro bono support, or cause-related marketing.

The Point is organising a relaunch event on 28 November 2025 to celebrate the completion of Phase One of decarbonising The Point. Around 200 VIPs will explore the revamped spaces, enjoy catering, and connect around Doncaster’s Net Zero future.

The charity is also looking for a sponsor for their Weekly Art Club for 5–11 Year Olds. The Art Club is transforming lives—especially for children with additional needs or challenging home lives. Each week, professional artists deliver inspiring sessions that build confidence, communication, teamwork, and resilience.
