Ros Jones, Mayor of Doncaster, said: "It is fantastic to see young entrepreneurs like James and Joe investing in Doncaster and creating opportunities for local people.
By taking on Club Impact and investing in new facilities and services, they have not only secured the future of a valued local business but have also enhanced the health and wellbeing offer available to the Auckley community. I wish them every success as they continue to grow the business and inspire others to turn their passions into successful enterprises."
"Supporting local entrepreneurs is vital to building a thriving economy, and James and Joe are a great example of how determination, hard work and local investment can make a real difference to our communities."
James and Joe now provide the local community with a top-tier health and fitness facility.
With the support of the Launchpad programme, the business has been able to turn ambition into action, accessing the advice and resources to help develop the business and strengthen their growth plans.
The renovations and improved facilities include a brand-new functional fitness floor, a new reception desk, solar panels and a refurbished room that is rented out to a local physiotherapist. This addition enables them to offer sports rehabilitation and massage services, further enhancing their range of health and wellness support.
Their 460 members also have access to an electric sauna so they can take some time to relax and unwind before heading home.
