New home for Weldricks Pharmacy in Scawthorpe

The Scawthorpe branch of independent local pharmacy chain, Weldricks, is now open following its recent relocation just a few doors down from its previous location on Amersall Road in the village.

As part of continued local investment in the area, the new branch can now be found at 87 Amersall Road and boasts a bigger, more modern pharmacy that will benefit the entire community.

Commenting on the move, pharmacist at Weldricks Scawthorpe, Bradley Broadhurst, said: “Our new premises provide lots more space and scope for the pharmacy team to further enhance and develop our unrivalled local pharmacy service.”

Continues Brad: “We’ve been delighted to welcome lots of existing customers as well as a few new faces since we opened the doors on Monday 15th March. The enthusiasm from customers and staff alike is great to see; we’ve had a brilliant start.

“I’d like to thank the team who have worked so hard to make the move run seamlessly with zero disruption to customers. I’m very proud of them, particularly considering the current circumstances.”

Concludes Brad: “Our relocation to bigger, better premises represents a significant investment and we’re determined to make the new branch even more successful than ever. We’ve had nothing but positive feedback from customers so far and we look forward to being able to help even more people to get well, local over the coming years.”
