New wellness business opens in Doncaster city centre

A new halotherapy (salt therapy) studio, Pure Salt Therapy, opens this week at Danum House, 6a South Parade, Doncaster.

Pure Salt Therapy offers 45-minute salt room sessions designed to support respiratory health, skin conditions, stress relief and general relaxation. Guests relax in zero-gravity loungers inside a dedicated salt room, while a halogenerator disperses micronized pharmaceutical-grade salt into the air — a natural therapy inspired by the microclimate of underground salt caves.

"We wanted to bring something genuinely different to Doncaster's high street — a calm, natural space where people can switch off and breathe easier," said a spokesperson for Pure Salt Therapy.

"It's been a long journey to get the doors open, and we can't wait to welcome people in."

The studio offers sessions for individuals, mother-and-child combinations, and family packages, with subscriptions also available for regular visitors. To celebrate opening, first sessions are available for £25.

Pure Salt Therapy is open Monday to Saturday, 9am–6pm, bookings can be made via puresalttherapy.co.uk.
