Next celebrates 5 years in Armthorpe Doncaster and creates more jobs

Next is one of the UK’s best-known high street retailers and most established online...but did you know that they also manufacture a number of sofa designs here in Doncaster?

Supported by Business Doncaster, Next Furniture Manufacturing opened its state of the art facility back in 2016 in Armthorpe, Doncaster with just one production line. Five years on and with investment in the latest technology, they have 12 production lines producing over 1700 pieces of furniture a week supplying exclusively to Next.

The workforce now stands at approx. 200 employees that includes upholsterers, frame assemblers, machine operators, sewing machinists, support operatives and their very own design and development team. With ambitious growth plans, the future at Next Furniture Manufacturing is strong and bright.
