Last month, the government unveiled a new tranche of £1 billion in support for the hospitality and leisure sectors.

Please note, this scheme is only available to rate paying businesses. The primary principle of the Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant scheme is to support businesses that are severely impacted by coronavirus restrictions and the rise of the Omicron variant and that offer in-person services, where the main service and activity takes place in a fixed rate-paying premises, in the hospitality, leisure and accommodation

You cannot get funding if:

  • your business is in administration, insolvent or has been struck off the Companies House register
  • you have exceeded the permitted subsidy allowance

You must notify your local council if your situation changes and you no longer meet the eligibility criteria, for example, if you become insolvent.

There is no guarantee that anyone will get a grant as it is at the discretion of Doncaster Council.
