Permission secured for more than 200 homes

Mixed-tenures homes provider, Vistry, has secured planning consent for more than 200 homes in Conisbrough, Doncaster.

A total of 226 new one to four-bedroom homes will be built on the 22-acre site north of Sheffield Road and to the south east of Old Road, Conisbrough.

Vistry has forward-sold 109 homes to affordable housing provider Sage Homes, as part of its partner delivery model.

The remaining 117 homes will be sold on the open market under Vistry’s Linden brand.

Planning permission for the development was granted by City of Doncaster Council.

Rob Spittles, managing director of Vistry East Yorkshire, said: “This is fantastic news for Conisbrough and the wider Doncaster area. The approval of hundreds of new homes, including a significant portion designated for affordable rent, will go a long way towards meeting local housing needs and supporting the community.

“Vistry is committed to creating mixed-tenure developments and partnerships with organisations like Sage Homes, helping to deliver more accessible housing options for families and individuals.”
