Planning secured for 375,000 sq.ft unit at Unity Connect

The new unit will provide market leading industrial accommodation on a 20 acre plot adjacent to J5 of the M18

Waystone Hargreaves Land LLP were delighted to announce that planning permission has been secured for a major new phase of industrial development at Unity Connect.

Andrew Johnson, director at Waystone Hargreaves Land LLP, said: “In recent weeks, planning consent has been granted for Unit A which will provide 375,000 sq.ft of market leading industrial accommodation on a 20 acre plot. The unit is designed to meet modern occupier requirements and will be located at Unity Connect, which is strategically located immediately adjacent to junction 5 of the M18 motorway.”


Unity Connect forms part of the Unity Yorkshire development situated in a prime strategic location on the eastern section of J5, M18. The scheme covers an area of 618 acres and provides excellent access to road, rail and sea connections. The development provides exciting opportunities for commercial and industrial business, residential, retail and leisure developments.

When completed the site will accommodate industrial and warehousing units from approximately 20,000 to 400,000 sq. ft. Purpose built units are also available on a design and build basis by way of a lease or to purchase.
