Specialist recruiters to the Built Environment and Rail sectors, Coleman James, has appointed Josh Haggart to join their new Doncaster base as Director of Rail.
Josh will head up Coleman James’ new Doncaster base, where he will spearhead ambitious plans to grow the Rail division to twenty consultants over the next three years.
Doncaster based Josh joins the team having spent over seven years as a specialist Rail Recruiter at Navartis, where he built a niche team of expert consultants and worked with a range of clients from PLCs to SMEs.
Highly respected within the industry, Josh is known for his technical understanding and passion for all things rail. Having recruited for many multinational Rail contractors and consultancies, he brings a wealth of experience.
Commenting on the appointment, Coleman James Managing Director, Andrew Mackay, said; “We have long admired Josh’s capabilities and when we met it was clear he shared the same values as the team at Coleman James; integrity, knowledge, relationships and excellence. Technically, he’s incredibly knowledgeable, has an unrivalled network in the sector and his passion for rail, and helping his candidates and client thrive, is infectious.
“For the past two years we have been organically growing our reputation in the sector, under the expert guidance of Rachel Young and her team, and now is the right time to add to the structure in order to support our growth strategy.
“Doncaster is a key hub for UK Rail. It’s uniquely positioned to deliver high potential opportunities for those operating in the sector so it makes sense to position our second office there to support Rail businesses in their recruitment efforts. Josh is absolutely the best person to do that. We’re delighted to have him on board.”
Coleman James was established by founder Andrew Mackay in 2016 and quickly built a reputation for service excellence in the Built Environment and Rail sectors, thanks to its partnership approach and experienced team of specialist Recruiters.
The Doncaster office, specialising in white-collar technical Rail recruitment, will open in January. It is uniquely positioned to serve Coleman James’ existing client base as well as meeting the ever-increasing demand for Rail professionals.
Commenting on his appointment, Josh said; “After seven years at my previous consultancy, I was ready for a new challenge and the opportunity to lead the Rail team here at Coleman James was simply too good to miss.
“I was bowled over by the dynamism and energy of the Senior Management team here. Coleman James is a progressive company with a clear vision and strategy for growth - their approach to recruitment is refreshing. The opportunity to help drive our ambitious Rail strategy and to attract, retain and develop a world-class team motivates and excites me and I am looking forward to the challenge.”
