Shape the future of Electric Vehicle Charging in Doncaster

City of Doncaster Council would like to hear from Doncaster businesses about Electric Vehicle usage and charging. Your responses will be really useful in feeding into EV charging projects in the future.

In January 2024, the Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Mandate became a part of the country’s strategy to achieve net-zero emissions, with a 2035 target for 100% of new car sales to be zero-emission.

The transition to electric vehicles (EV) brings multiple economic, environmental and health benefits, including reduced emissions, less noise pollution, and lower running costs. The switch to EVs requires efficient and reliable charging infrastructure to be fully successful.

City of Doncaster Council (CDC) is working with government and industry to implement charging infrastructure to support the current and future uptake of EVs.

As part of the work CDC is doing, we are keen to speak to high mileage businesses to gain insight and understanding of behaviours regarding EVs and charging infrastructure. These insights will be imperative in shaping future EV infrastructure projects lead by the Council.
