SPUDBROS to launch new express store in Doncaster

Delivered in partnership with Taster, the European leader in creator-led food brands, and EG On The Move, the opening forms part of an ambitious nationwide expansion that will see 30 new roadside locations launch across EG on the Move forecourts over the next three years.

The latest launch follows a rapid succession of SpudBros Express openings across London, Sheffield, Portsmouth, and Edinburgh alongside EG On The Move concessions in Blackburn, Chepstow, Nottingham, Newcastle, Liverpool, Shropshire, Wakefield, Wyberton and Barnstaple. The partnership marked SpudBros’ first dedicated move into roadside and forecourt retail, taking its cult-favourite loaded spuds beyond traditional high streets and into one of the UK’s busiest convenience channels.

Designed to serve the millions of customers stopping at forecourts every week, the expansion reflects growing demand for fast, affordable and high-quality food on the go, while bringing one of the UK’s most recognisable social-first food brands to an entirely new audience.

Ogden Road is one of 15 new locations confirmed for this year alone, signalling a major new phase in the rapidly growing partnership between SpudBros, Taster and EG On The Move.

Purpose-built for high-footfall, convenience-led environments, SpudBros Express has been designed to deliver freshly prepared, fully loaded jacket potatoes in minutes, without compromising on quality, flavour or portion size. Whether it’s a quick lunch on a long drive, a satisfying stop between meetings or an early morning bite, the format has been developed to cater to customers throughout the day. The recent introduction of a new breakfast menu further reflects the shared ambition to make SpudBros a go-to choice from the first mile of the journey to the last.

Each location serves the brand’s cult-favourite menu items, from the Tram Classic, loaded with garlic butter, SpudBros’ signature three-cheese mix, beans, crispy onions and world-famous Tram Sauce, to the Spudfather, topped with chilli con carne, tuna coleslaw and bolognese, alongside the ever-popular build-your-own option.

To celebrate the Ogden Road launch, SpudBros will be giving away a free spud to the first 100 customers through the doors from 12pm on Tuesday 4 August, with the store remaining open until 9pm.

The new SpudBros Express concession is located at Ogden Road, Doncaster, DN2 4SQ. It will be open seven days a week, from 11am–9pm Sunday to Thursday and 11am–10pm Friday and Saturday.
