Final chance to have say on DSA Airspace plans

The Airspace Change Proposal (ACP) consultation was opened in early August and as of mid-September had gathered >1,300 responses. Residents are now being reminded that they have until Midnight on Sunday October 4^th to submit their views.

Over the last two months, the consultation team has held five in-person events and spoken to hundreds of people about the airspace proposals. There have also been several online webinars for members of the community, as well as events aimed at the General Aviation audience.

Christian Foster, Director of FlyDoncaster Ltd said: “With the consultation window closing on the 4^thOctober, residents have just over a week and a half left to submit their feedback on our plans. Speaking to local people, hearing and addressing any concerns they may have and acting as a good neighbour to the communities around the airport is vital to the success of this project.”

“Over the course of the consultation we’ve engaged extensively over a wide area and heard a variety of views that we will now take into account before submitting updated documents to the CAA as part of this process.”

When the consultation window closes on 4^th October, the consultation team will carefully review and categorise the feedback raised and produce a consultation response document. Feedback will be directly used to inform the next stages of the process. 

While the in-person events have now concluded, there are two webinars that interested parties can register for this week, on Wednesday 23 September at 17:30 to 19:00 and on Friday 25 September at 11:00 to 12:30.
