Doncaster-based Signum Facilities Management has passed an important assessment which ensures the electrical work it undertakes meets the current national standards.
For the ninth consecutive year, Signum FM exceeded the required level during the annual National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) assessment.
The NICEIC is one of several organisations which regulates the training and work of electrical enterprises in the UK and are required to carry out periodic assessments to ensure that electrical work completed by companies up and down the country meets the scheme requirements and technical standards.
Jill Wood, managing director of Signum Facilities Management: “We were thrilled with the feedback we received which acknowledged it has been a good assessment, that we were well prepared and that no none-conformances were observed.
“To have passed the standard for the ninth consecutive year is credit to our team and ethos here at Signum to be able to go above and beyond the required standards and deliver the best possible service across the range of facilities management work we undertake. This is absolutely essential to our business and it’s reassuring to our customer base to know they are in safe hands when it comes to the electrical work they need us to complete.
“The assessor spent the day with our electrical qualified supervisor, John Booth, to check our admin, equipment and then visually inspect three jobs that we have completed to verify that how we work is up to the current standards within requirements for Electrical Installations.”
Signum FM provides planned and reactive maintenance services for businesses across Yorkshire.
