The programme is designed for businesses operating from South Yorkshire to help early-stage entrepreneurs wanting to understand equity investment and provide them with the skills, knowledge and networks needed to fund their business growth.

• You will be required to commit to the full programme – a minimum of 12 hours, and in return will receive expert knowledge, advice and coaching from investors and funding specialists in South Yorkshire and the rest of the UK.
• This first programme is designed to get businesses funding ready and equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to seek equity investment.
• Over 7 weeks businesses will attend workshops that will introduce them to experts and investors to help navigate the world of equity investment. They will learn how to build an investable company and get ready to pitch to investors as well as being introduced to alternative avenues of funding.

After the 7 weeks of workshops they will receive 1:1 mentoring and the programme will culminate in an Investor Lounge/Demo day where selected startups will be invited to meet with an investor network and have the opportunity to pitch to investors and partners.

Applications close on Monday 20 September with the course commencing on Monday 4 October.
