OLS Ltd, a cloud-based access control specialist company located in Doncaster are pleased to announce that Bradley Cooper has passed his Level 3 Apprenticeship in Fire, Emergency and Security Systems Engineering and now has a full-time role at OLS Ltd as a Security Engineer.

Bradley first joined OLS Ltd in 2019 at the age of 21 and was the first Security Engineer Apprentice employed at the company. The Level 3 Apprenticeship was a 3-year course that involved both classroom and online learning as well as on the job training which saw Bradley accompanying the Engineering Team in access control installations and fault diagnosis across a wide range of business sectors.

Dan Wadsworth Engineering Manager at OLS Ltd said “Brad was the first apprentice that OLS employed, he has done really well during his apprenticeship, and I am immensely proud of the engineer he is shaping out to be. The apprenticeship scheme is a fantastic way for young people to earn while they learn.”

Bradley said “I have really enjoyed my apprenticeship, in particular the day to day learning whilst out on site  with the Engineering Team. The knowledge and understanding of Access Control, CCTV, and Intruder security systems that I have learnt is invaluable and has enabled me to become a key member at OLS Ltd and I look forward to progressing my skills further in my new role as Security Systems Engineer.”

OLS Ltd have in fact since recruited two additional apprentices to the team and are more than happy to invest their time and knowledge in this area as they feel that apprentices are key to the future growth and success of the business.
