Site entrance now complete at major Regeneration scheme

2022 has kicked off with a bang at Unity Yorkshire, Doncaster as progress on site continues to gather pace, despite some challenging weather conditions.

Construction of the main site entrance has successfully been completed as well as installation of 1,200m of sewer rising main. The offsite gravity sewer is now in place and construction of various swales are progressing well. This new road ‘Unity Way’ provides a new 1.8 mile route from junction 5 of the M18 motorway to the existing residential development in Stainforth. In addition, the new road links to Hatfield to the south, improving access to the motorway network for the residents of local communities.

Unity Yorkshire is situated in a prime strategic location on the eastern section of the M18/M180 motorway corridor and is an award-winning development covering an area of approximately 250 hectares (618 acres) and is one of the largest regeneration and infrastructure projects of its kind in the UK. It will deliver a mixed-use development of regional importance.

The scheme will provide over 3,000 new homes, a new town centre, offline marina, school and transport hub and over 60 hectares (150 acres) dedicated to a variety of new commercial uses and over 80 hectares (200 acres) of open spaces.

Looking ahead, 2022 is set to be a defining year for this scheme, with a number of significant milestones in the pipeline. For further information please visit www.unity-yorkshire.com.
