The One Call Group hits milestone of one million customers

The milestone comes after a particularly successful few years for the Group. In both 2021 and 2022, One Call Insurance were awarded ‘Best Overall Insurance Broker’ at the Insurance Choice Awards.

The One Call Group, based in Doncaster, recently hit the milestone of 1,000,000,000 customers.

It was part of One Call’s 2023 vision to reach this achievement by the end of the year, and they are proud to announce that they have done so in just eight months.

This has been done thanks to a collective effort by One Call Insurance, their sister company Yoga Insurance, and One Click, a trading name of One Call Insurance. One Click was established amid the cost-of-living crisis, aiming to get back to basics and offer affordable insurance for those who need to get covered without breaking the bank.

The milestone comes after a particularly successful few years for the Group. In both 2021 and 2022, One Call Insurance were awarded ‘Best Overall Insurance Broker’ at the Insurance Choice Awards and were recently announced as finalists for 2023.

One Call Commercial, another member of the One Call Group, was also announced as ‘Best Commercial Insurance Broker’ in 2022.

In September, the One Call Group were also announced as finalists for the ‘Local Impact of the Year’ category in this year’s Doncaster Business Awards, in recognition of the fundraising work that they carry out for local charities and causes.

At the end of 2022, One Call also launched their new Pay as you Drive product, helping customers who are struggling with growing bills to pay for their insurance on a ‘pay as you go’ basis.

Adding to their string of successes, a recent Consumer Intelligence survey found that One Call tops the table when it comes to customer retention, revealing that around a quarter of retained customers had their best price matched at renewal.

Speaking of this milestone, One Call CEO Nik Springthorpe said, “this is astounding and something that, back in 2003 when I first joined One Call, I would never have dreamt that our business would achieve.”

The One Call Group continue to grow and look forward to gaining new customers, and retaining existing customers, for years to come.
