Equity Masterclass: Valuations – art or science?

The Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund is pleased to kick off 2021 with a series of masterclasses on equity finance. The first event will take place on the 11th February 2021 with follow on masterclasses taking place in May and October.

Join our series of events to grow your knowledge of equity investment including; how equity can be a solution in challenging times, valuations: head vs. heart, and finally tips for the perfect pitch.

Senior Managers from the British Business Bank will be hosting these events with fireside chats with Maven and Mercia, the leading equity investors across the North who will be sharing their expertise, best practices and lessons learnt.

Our second masterclass is ‘Valuations – art or science?’ where we will explore the numerous variables behind a valuation and why a good valuation needs to take into account the story behind the business.

These events are open to businesses looking to raise finance as well as advisers and you will have the opportunity to ask our expert panel questions.
