Doncaster agent brings home the gold at biggest property awards

The prestigious event, organised by the industry’s only trade magazine - The Negotiator, is the leading awards programme for estate and letting agents in the UK. On Friday 26 November the ‘Property party of the year’ took place at London’s premier venue, The Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair. Galley Properties were in attendance after securing places on four out of a possible four shortlists. They finished the evening celebrating two Gold award wins and one Bronze.

Over 1000 guests from every corner of the UK were in attendance and TV presenter, comedian and celebrity, Rob Beckett was on hand to present the trophies to the winners. Galley Properties were centre stage to accept their Gold awards for Property Management Department of the Year - UK and Small Estate Agency of the Year - UK. In addition to this, they also secured a Bronze award for Yorkshire and The Humber Agency of the Year.

The Negotiator commented that the entries were of a particularly high standard this year with outstanding efforts in the bigger classes, such as Small Estate Agency of the Year - a category Galley Properties went on to win.

Following their success, Galley Properties Director, Teresa Galley commented “we are simply over the moon that we won several awards this year, it’s our biggest win to date. I take pride in the fact that all of our departments have been recognised for their tremendous effort in what has been a difficult couple of years for the industry. Both the sales and lettings parts of our business won a trophy which goes to show just how hard everyone works for all our customers, whether that’s selling a house or helping a landlord.”

With regards to property sales, she continued “the Small Estate Agency of the Year award is particularly great because it’s such a hard-fought category and covers all of the single branch agencies in the UK. Everyone in the sales team is so happy that their outstanding effort has been rewarded and they can now call themselves the best in the UK. We have a really strong team and we offer our customers lots of extras that other agents don’t – I’m sure that was a factor in our amazing win.”

For lettings and property management, Teresa added “We started 13 years ago as a lettings business and we have continued to grow and perfect what we do. The Gold award for being the best Property Management Department of the Year in the UK just goes to show how far we have come. Helping Landlords and Tenants is often a difficult and complex job, but as a company, we provide the support and training that give our staff the knowledge and confidence to deliver a brilliant service. I’m really proud of everything we have achieved in both sales and lettings and we are looking forward to finding out what 2022 will bring. Well done team Galley!”
