Grants up to £25,000 are now available for local community organisations who provide a friendly, inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of the community, to come together for a chat, activities, and to receive support.
Doncaster’s Choose Kindness movement celebrates and champions kindness across the city. There‘s no limit to the benefits of choosing kindness and the difference this makes to people, place and planet.
The Community Development Support (CDS) fund looks to support the Choose Kindness movement by funding inclusive activities that create community cohesion, understanding and respect. These could be new activities and projects, or extending current provision to residents.
For example, these projects could include, but are not limited to: improving digital skills, mental health and wellbeing activities, culture and heritage sessions, employment and housing support, or arts and crafts activities.
