Advance Doncaster and partners are working together to host a recruitment drive bringing future candidates and businesses together. Both candidates and businesses are invited to attend the 3^rd Recruitment Showcase Event at The Racecourse.

Event details:

• Wednesday 17^th April - 10am to 5pm
• The Racecourse, Bawtry Road, Doncaster, DN2 6BB

Speaker sessions: There will be guest speakers all speaking from experience of working within their current sector and the pathways to get there. Visitors and exhibitors are most welcome to attend and network with each other, as well as listen and engage with the speaker presentations.

Whether you are in work or looking for a new role, want to either progress or change your career path, a student looking to start your career, a veteran or those looking for apprenticeship opportunities or maybe fancy starting your own business here in Doncaster.

You’ll find a vast array of companies including Yorkshire Wildlife Park, NHS and partners, City of Doncaster Council and the Civil Service and from sectors including creative and digital media, manufacturing and engineering, rail and social care.

Come down to Doncaster Recruitment Showcase between 10am and 5pm to explore the extensive amount of opportunities available including career paths you might not even know exist

The event is hosted by the City of Doncaster council the Business Doncaster Advance Team will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions and guide you through the day!

For Businesses:

Stands for employers are FREE.

This event offers a unique opportunity for employers to hold first stage interviews on site and there will be promotional talks to target specific sectors on the main stage every hour. Advance Doncaster will be happy to allocate you a slot if you would like to promote your organisation. This event is in follow-up to the success of on-site recruitment at our last event.

What your stand includes:

• Stand allocation has been discussed in advance of the event, if there is a need for additional space please get in touch before 3^rd April 2024.
• Stand / table size is approx. 1.5metres in length, a double space can be allocated providing the early notice is received (by 12.00 noon 3rd April 2024). Please feel free to provide business own table cloth, a plain black table cloth will be allocated to each table at time of set up.
• If you require power for display purposes please advise by 12.00 noon on 3^rd April 2024. Networking: There will be a chance to network with other employers before the event opens.

Car Parking: Exhibitors should arrive to setup/unload stand materials in the front Racecourse carpark. Once materials have been unloaded and set up cars should be moved to the alternative car park across the road. This car park is also free.

Refreshments: Breakfast along with teas, coffee’s will be available and served from 8.30am – 8.45am and self-service tea, coffee water will be then available through the day at an allocated refreshment stand.  You can bring a packed lunch or if your stand is covered there are options for food at Herten Triangle, which is a short drive away from the Racecourse.
