European Defense Tech Hackathon - Sheffield:

The next European Defense Tech Hackathon is coming to Sheffield, July 18–20, in partnership with Inflection.xyz, DroneAid Collective, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, TECH SY, and Atuin.Ventures®.

They’re bringing together 100+ participants, engineers, and domain experts to tackle real-world defence challenges, alongside those who have seen the frontlines.

The EDTH is a recent network which has already run 10 hackathons across Europe, engaging over 1000 builders and with alumni of around 50 startups.

Time to Accelerate European Defense Innovation

The European Defence Tech Hackathon is bringing 100+ hackers from all across Europe and beyond for a defence tech hackathon on July 18-20 in Pennine Five, Sheffield.

Goal

They want to bridge the gaps between technologists, the public sector, investors, and operators in dual-use and defence technology. This hackathon will demonstrate the talent and drive of the European ecosystem and work towards the deployment of new defence technologies. There will be guests who have been on the frontline to give feedback and set real problems for solving.

Visitor Policy

To give the participants time and space to focus on their projects during the hackathon, there will be no visitors allowed during the hackathon. For those curious about the outcomes and what the teams have built, visitors can sign up for the demo day on Sunday from 1pm
