Tic-Toc, a specialist watch, clock and jewellery business, is relocating from Bowers Fold back to the Corn Exchange, the very place where it first began trading in 2004.
Owner Marc Taylor, who has built a loyal customer base over more than two decades, says the move marks an exciting new chapter for the business.
“Returning to the Corn Exchange feels like coming home,” said Marc. “I started my business there over 20 years ago, and with the recent regeneration of the building, it feels like the right time to come back. The space is fantastic, and I’m looking forward to welcoming both longstanding customers and new ones.”
After relocating to Bowers Fold in 2017, Marc has now made the decision to return, citing the building’s major refurbishment and a renewed interest in the venue as a vibrant destination.
With regular events, increased visitor numbers and a growing reputation as a hub for independent businesses, the Corn Exchange offers renewed opportunities for traders like Tic-Toc to thrive.
Tic-Toc will continue to offer its hallmark high-quality repair services for watches, clocks and jewellery, a key factor behind its strong reputation and loyal clientele. Alongside repairs, the business will expand its product range, focusing on higher-end watches and clocks, as well as introducing new lines on a regular basis.
Customers can also continue to access jewellery repair services and sell gold and jewellery through the business.
“Customer service has always been at the heart of what I do,” Marc added. “I’ve built the business on trust, quality and reliability, and I’m proud of the positive feedback and repeat customers I’ve received over the years. This move allows me to build on that, while offering something fresh and exciting.”
The relocation has been supported by Business Doncaster, which has assisted with marketing, social media and promotional activity to help raise awareness of the move.
