Hall Fencing

Fencing firm’s apprenticeship ambitions.

A Doncaster fencing business has been able to take on new members of staff thanks to support from Business Doncaster.

Hall Fencing, based in Kirk Sandall, recently started working with Business Doncaster to help achieve its growth ambitions.

The 17-year-old business has already received expert advice on how to apply for funding and find new premises suitable for its requirements and is now hoping to introduce a new apprenticeship scheme and employ more office staff.

Nicola Hall, Director at Hall Fencing, said: “the Business Doncaster team has been very helpful, offering plenty of information and suggesting links with other local businesses where there may be potential opportunities.

“We recently built our new warehouse, so we will soon be looking to hire at least one new apprentice in our fabrication department.

“The support has played a huge role in enabling us to take these positive steps, and I am excited by how we will be able to develop more in future, too.”

Hall Fencing specialises in commercial and security fencing, often working with local government, schools and social projects.

It offers a complete service from design to manufacture, and is a member of the Fencing Contractors Association.

As a beneficiary of Business Doncaster’s support, Hall Fencing is also able to access free Masterclasses on a range of subjects, including marketing and management that are run by industry experts.

Nicola added: “We are really looking forward to sending employees on the Masterclasses, which will be invaluable in providing practical tips and experience for our new staff once they are in place.”
